To unite in one organization, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliatio or nationality, all workers within the jurisdiction of the local, to maintain and improve wages, hours and working conditions for all of its members, to educate the membership in the history of the American labor movement and in present day labor problems and tactics, to secure legislation in the intersts of labor and to oppose anti-labor legislation.
