Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation

Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club foundation is organized to support the local Tacoma community and vocational programs along with international avenues of service. Grants are awarded to community service organizations to support the foundation's purpose. The purposes include supporting programs that benefits at-risk youth and their families. The services include shelter and counseling for abused children, job training for single mothers, youth self esteem development and career development for middle school students. The international purpose was achieved through supporting the Rotary international foundation. The Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club foundation also supports an incentive program at a local middle school to develop good study and attendence habits. Over 360 individuals were served through the grants and support programs.
