Port Angeles Baseball was organized to provide an opportunity for young men between the ages of 16 to 18 to compete in amateur Baseball on a regional, state, and national basis. The organization filed articles of incorporation with the state of Washington which were approved on may 16, 1994. The organization's exempt purposes are charitable and educational. Kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play ball because of financial circumstances will be provided with uniforms and expendable Baseball gear and have the opportunity to travel to different towns, cities, and States to compete with other teams. The city of Port Angeles and surrounding areas have been very supportive of the teams because there are not many organized activities for kids in this age group. Local merchants and the entire community have responded generously with donations of their money and time to help the teams.
