The Schuyler Central High School (schs) foundation was established in 1997 to support and enrich the educational programs offered by Schuyler community schools. Schuyler community schools has developed a reputation for excellence in education. The School district continues to strive to provide the best educational opportunity for the students of this School district. The Schuyler community board of education has appointed a seven-member board of directors for the foundation which is comprised of three members from the community of Schuyler, three members from the board of education and the High School superintendent. The members of the board of directors do not receive any financial compensation for their service. The monies donated to the Schuyler Central High School (schs)foundation as stated in the articles of incorporation, are to be used "for the benefit of or to carry out the purposes of the School district of Schuyler community schools.
