Friends of Friends

Friends of Friends medical support fund (FOF) is a community -supported fund offering financial help to people on south whidbey island with medically-related bills they cannot afford to pay. Qualifying medical costs include: prescription drugs, doctor, dentist, medical laboratory tests, x-rays, mammograms, and hospital bills. The fund will also assist with transportation expenses (via gas vouchers and ferry tolls), medical supplies and equipment as prescribed. Dollar limits (per individual) are set on an annual basis and all funds are paid directly to providers. FOF is a primarily volunteer based organization and does not provide casework, medical advise or medical referrals.
