The Jonathan foundation for Children With Learning disabilities (the "foundation") raises money to fund assessments, I.e., psychoeducational, speech and language, occupational therapy, behavioral, etc. depending on the needs of the child. The assessors must determine and provide a diagnosis and attend an individual educational plan ("iep") to defend their report. In addition, the foundation also provides advocacy for the child. An advocate is needed to negotiate, mitigate, and incorporate the findings in the assessor's report into the iep for the child. Throughout the year, the board meets to review the applications and approve for funding. During 2025, there are 49 Children With iep advocacy.
