Miracle House Guild

The Miracle House Guild was founded in 2000 to support Seattle children's hospital (a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt hospital) by raising awareness and funds primarily for the uncompensated care program. "the Miracle House," a name coined for the hospital by faithful supporter and storyteller phil smart senior, was a name given to the Guild as recognition of its unique history. The Guild was created in response to a diverse group of strangers from all over greater king and pierce counties who expressed an interest in Guild membership, but who did not have a specific link to an existing Guild. Now a strong and growing group of friends, they continue to share a common bond of deep devotion to supporting Seattle children's hospital to ensure that the children of the northwest have the best possible healthcare available to them regardless of their ability to pay.
