Friends of the Municipality of Anchorage Public Libraries

The purposes of the Friends of the Libraries shall be as set forth in the articles of incorporation, which are as follows: a. To maintain an association of persons interested in the Anchorage Public Libraries through which interested persons can effectively work with the professional staff of the Municipality of Anchorage Public Libraries to enhance the. Effectiveness of the Libraries and their operations and activities; b. To focus Public attention on the Anchorage Public Libraries. C. to stimulate the use of the resources and services of the Anchorage Public Libraries among all citizens, residents and visitors of southcentral alaska; d. To support and cooperate with the professional staff of the Anchorage Public Libraries in developing library services and facilities for the community; e.
