To support the preservation, revitalization, and education of the unique cultural heritage of the Bristol BAY region. Through department of education grant funding, these activities aim to strengthen cultural identity and community bonds by offering community culture camps, teacher training in cultural competency, and educational pathways for high school students and paraprofessionals interested in teaching careers. These initiatives serve to empower local communities, ensure the transmission of traditional knowledge, and enrich the educational experience by incorporating cultural values and perspectives.
