Chicago Community Connectors & Violence Interrupters

The organization conducted Community-based outreach and education efforts aimed at reducing Violence and promoting public safety. Trained outreach workers and peer mentors engaged residents in high-risk neighborhoods, mediated conflicts, and connected individuals to social services, employment resources, and trauma support. The program hosted more than 150 Community events and workshops, directly reaching over 2,000 individuals. These efforts contributed to improved Community engagement, stronger neighborhood networks, and measurable reductions in violent incidents within target areas.
