Ngoc Hiep Meditation Center

The specific purposes for which the Ngoc Hiep Meditation center is organized are: to establish a place of worship, study, and practice for buddhist members; to advance the teaching of the Buddha; to practice a lifestyle of compassionate non-violence, of mindful consciousness as the underlying foundation for the spiritual and insightful life of the buddhist; to maintain the vietnamese traditional culture and high moral standards for the vietnamese, in concert with other cultures; to promote and encourage the practice of the five midfulness trainings, not to kill, not to steal, not to engage in sexual misconduct, not to lie, not to partake in substance abuse, in order to build happiness and peace for the individual, the family and society.
