Detroit Midwifery School

Sage Midwifery d.b.a. Detroit Midwifery School's mission is to train skilled, compassionate and diverse entry-level midwives who safeguard physiological birth and reproductive experiences by providing care that is informed by intersectionality, tradition and scientific evidence. The focus is to expand accessibility to equitable Midwifery education, ensure the sustainability of the profession, provide continuing education for midwives and other birth workers and act as a responsive educational resource to the community at large.
