The organization's mission is to provide an educational and charitable resource with the goal of bringing nutrition, learning and joy to all students and children. This is accomplished by serving under-resourced elementary schools and child and/or family focused charitable organizations in akron, Ohio and surrounding areas through the purchase and distribution of backpacks, food and school supplies to school children at qualifying schools. In 2024, the organization:provided 1,500 weekend bags (2 days worth of food) to students in the firestone park area during summer break. Packed and distributed 1,150 Thanksgiving food bags to barber, leggett, and voris schools, and 1,150 Christmas food bags to voris, leggett, sam salem, and rimer schools. Additionally, the organization provided 20 complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in need, $2,500 in emergency food gift cards, winter clothing and essentials to akron public school students, and 6 boxes of laundry supplies.
