Stand up for Kids

Stand up for kids was organized to promote the public good served by online Michigan charter schools, to provide a forum for traditional charter schools and online virtual charter schools to meet and develop as a professional extension of the academic community, to promote alternative models of education which emphasize partnerships betweem public education ideals and private sector leadership, to promote education by stimulating innovative teaching methods, achieving school accountaility, and providing parents with greater choices, to educate legislators and the general public on the importance of equal funding for all public education options, to develop a public education program to raise public consciousness about the importance of online public school options.
