Iec Workforce Development Institute

The Iec Workforce Development institute shall provide research and develop information regarding the state and future of the independent electrical industry in the United States, educate the public about the electrical contracting industry and the importance of electrical workers to a robust u.s. Economy, and support organizations that understand and value the interests of those engaged in the electrical construction industry. The organization shall advance these initiatives through a variety of educational, training, and safety programs and events. The foregoing activities will initially compose 100 percent of the organization's operations and resources and will be conducted by the board of directors, officers, and staff. As a type I supporting organization, the members of the board of directors of independent electrical contractors, inc. shall serve ex-officio as the directors of the institute.
