MFHS Foundation

Mfhs foundation is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation (the foundation) that was organized and operated as a supporting organization described in the internal revenue code (irc) section 509(a)(3). The foundation is controlled by maternal and family health services, inc which provides healthcare services to underserved women, children and families in the northeastern Pennsylvania area. Mfhs is a public charity described in irc sections 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1), and 170(b)(1)(a)(vi).the foundation was formed to support or benefit mfhs. As a supporting organization, the foundation was organized and operates exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of the publically supported organization. The foundation was organized and will be operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically, to support and benefit mfhs. One hundred percent of the foundation's time and resources will be allocated to the supporting organization activities.
