Society for Poetic Computation Inc

The organization's mission is to support the development of political, artistic and cultural discourse around Computation that centers the experiences and perspectives of people who are routinely marginalized and oppressed by art, technology and university contexts, especially black, indigenous, racialized, queer, trans, non-binary disabled and low-income makers, thinkers and engineers and to create liberating, empowering, and creative community spaces for diverse populations that might not be able to access technical, critical, and arts education through traditional means, such as academic institutions and formal training.
