To acquire, maintain, and preserve in its natural state, a large tract of original prairie and farmland in Washington county, Minnesota, to (I) preserve and protect the natural environment from commercial development for the benefit of the public, (ii) reserve such property as a sanctuary for wild birds and animal for the educational purposes of instruction of the public on subjects of conservation, preservation and protection of the natural environment, and (iii) provide environmental conservancy by preserving such property in its natural state and ensuring the undisturbed balance of the ecosystem
