Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line (28-31) - Primary exempt purpose: The long-term care, support, and rehabilitation of Chow Chow dogs at risk for euthanasia due to behavioral issues, resulting in other animal care organizations deeming them unadoptable. These dogs are provided the care, love, and respect they deserve to live a full and happy life and when time, a dignified and painless death. They are full-time and long-term Residents of the Sanctuary and are not eligible for adoption. We also support owners who are overwhelmed by their dog's behavior with information, resources, and tools, to help their dogs stay in their home, as well as provide support to ensure any that dogs accepted into the Sanctuary have the necessary veterinary care, inspection, certification, and vaccinations to travel to the Sanctuary per state and federal regulations.
