Monterey County Families is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing support and resources to Families in the community With the 501c3 status we are able to utilize our tax-exempt status to further our mission of supporting Families in need One of the ways in which we will utilize this status is by offering child care support to low-income Families We understand that quality child care can be expensive and out of reach for many Families which is why we have established a program to provide affordable child care services By being a 501c3 organization we are able to receive donations and grants that will help us cover the costs of running this program and ensure that children from all economic backgrounds have access to safe and nurturing care Additionally our organization offers family services such as counseling parenting classes and financial assistance With the 501c3 status we are able to receive tax-deductible donations from individuals
