Unified COD Cooperative

The Cooperative was formed for the purpose of applying for, obtaining, and distributing among its members annual allocations of Cooperative quota (cq) pursuant to the Pacific cod trawl Cooperative (pctc) program: to monitor its members' compliance with cod fishery and related by-catch restrictions imposed in accordance with applicable laws, promoting the intelligent and orderly harvest of Pacific cod in the bering sea and aleutian islands, improving resource utilization, reducing waste, and exercising all the powers of a Washington fish marketing act corporation and pctc program conducive to these purposes.
