To promote and support adequate state and National security, foster and improve relations between the Oregon National Guard and the public, promote understanding and cooperation between the active armed forces and reserve, to foster, improve and promote the continuance of the Oregon National Guard as a component of the us armed forces, to exert a beneficial influence upon matters affecting the Oregon National Guard, to preserve and perpetuate the history and traditions of the Oregon National Guard, to promote and foster activities and programs of benefit to the Oregon National Guard.
