Atkinson Elementary PTA

Atkinson Elementary School PTA is committed to improving the lives of the children and families at Atkinson Elementary School. We strive to promote student achievement, well-being, and success by supporting equitable, accessible, high benefit enrichment opportunities, suited to our community. We encourage family involvement in PTA, school, and classroom programs and activities. The PTA raised money to fund supportive contributions towards science fairs, field trips, learning space supplies, grounds improvements, physical education and equipment, playground equipment, educational enrichments and special class projects. We have hosted various social events for the children and families, and facilitate a luncheon for teacher appreciation. Facilitate the Outdoor Learning Gardens program and Running club during school hours. The PTA administers the Atkinson Kids Basketball program, which is an afterschool program and parents pay a small participation fee to cover expenses.
