California Public Interest Research Group

The purpose of the corporation is to promote social welfare within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the internal revenue code. Activities may include but are not limited to, Research, education and advocacy in the areas of consumer protection, environmental preservation and protection, corporate and governmental responsibility and other issues affecting the social welfare of the people of California and elsewhere.
