National Japanese American Historical Society Inc

The National Japanese American Historical Society, Inc. (NJAHS), is a 501 c (3) National non-profit organization, incorporated in 1981, based in San Francisco, CA. It preserves cultural resources relating to the Japanese American experience through collections, interpretation, and production of exhibitions, public programs, artistic performances on topical areas of historic interest to museums, Historical societies and community centers. It gathers and preserves Historical records, oral histories, and objects into a formalized documentation of history. It offers professional training to educators on the interpretation of the Japanese American experience.
