K01025 Alameda

Alameda kiwanis club is a local group of small businesses and individuals and is part of a world wide community service organization, kiwanis international. We meet weekley (virtually during the pandemic) to network and plan community service events such as park and beach cleanups and volunteering for various events benefitting youth and the community at large such as the park street art and wine fair, toys for tots, webster street jam festival, girls inc., Alameda boys and girls club, Alameda recreation & park department, pediatric trauma prevention, to name a few. Local guests from the non profit or business community are invited as weekly speakers. The kiwanis club also hosts awards and appreciation lunches for the Alameda police and fire and for graduating eigth graders through our leadership program called hope of America.
