Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Since 1969, our mission has been to work collaboratively with the Merced animal control division to save as many shelter Animals as we can through rescue, foster, and transport; to improve our community's environmental health and safety by reducing illnesses in feral Animals through trapping and vaccinations, and to continue to spay and neuter as many of Merced's Animals as we can through our tnr program in an effort to decrease the overwhelming euthanaisa rate due to abandonment, abuse, and overpopulation.
