International Expressive Arts Therapy Association

The purpose of IEATA is as follows:1) to establish recognition of the profession of Arts Therapy while supporting the growth and development of an integrated arts approach to psychotherapy and related forms of personal growth and healing.2) to promote the improvement of standards of practice and business in the Expressive Arts field.3) to promote the advancement of artistic inquiry as well as the advancement and publishing of other forms of research in the Expressive Arts Therapy field.4) to provide vehicles for the ongoing exchange of information regarding Expressive Arts Therapy and its application to the general public, other professionals and related fields.
