Canon Barcus Inc

The charitable purposes of Canon Barcus, inc. are exclusively to benefit and support episcopal community services of San Francisco, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation in accordance with sec. 509(a)(3)(a) by 1) providing affordable housing for low-income persons, where no adequate housing exists for such groups; 2) providing decent, safe & sanitary housing for low-income persons, or for those who are homelessor in imminent danger of homelessness, or who are displaced from urban renewal areas, or as a result of governmental action, or a disaster where insufficient housing exists for such groups; 3) owning and/or leasing & operating facilities to shelter, feed, clothe, counsel and rehabilitate unemployed and homeless individuals; and 4) conducting programs and activities in education, social work, health & recreation which are dedicated to improving the quality and productivity of the lives of individuals and families in San Francisco.
