The specific charitable and public purposes for which the corporation is organized are exclusively to carry out the following: (1) providing affordable Housing for low income persons, where no adequate Housing exists for such groups; (2) owning and operating affordable Housing for the benefit of low income persons who are in need of affordable, decent, safe and sanitary Housing and related services, where an inadequate supply of Housing exists for such groups; and (3) serving as a member and manager in limited liability companies which will serve as a general partner in limited partnerships which own and operate Housing for the benefit of low income persons.
