Primary exempt purpose - advancement of food science and technology, maintenance of high professional standards for it's members; the formation of closer professional and personal relations of members; furtherance of aims and purposes of the institute of food technologiests; and to stimulate interest in and to promote professional development of students, faculty members, and others in nearby institutions pursuing vocations in food science and technology.
