Center for Civic Education

The center ensures a free and fair republic by teaching the principles and practice of democracy to millions of educators and their students. As a national, nonpartisan nonprofit, the center designs comprehensive civics curricular programs, with embedded democratic experiential learning, supported by evidence-based professional learning, that focuses on building the habits of participation ensuring deep Civic knowledge, skills and dispositions for the teachers, their students, and communities.
