The Infant Development Association advocates for improved, effective prevention and early intervention services by providing information, education, and training to parents, professionals, decision makers, and others in the field of early intervention.IDA consists of 2 chapters throughout California where local meetings ofprofessionals and families are held to discuss and learn about a variety of topicsand issues related to early intervention and child Development.IDA with the volunteers representing families and professionals in the field ofearly intervention identify educational needs, information and resource needs, andpolicies to improve early intervention services in California.
