Venice Arts

Venice Arts' mission is to ignite, expand, and transform the lives of LosAngeles' low-income youth through photography and film education, and touse our participatory storytelling practices to amplify the voices ofunderrepresented communities around the world. We do this by buildingcreative equity for low-income youth through media arts education, collegesuccess, and creative career pathway programs where we put creativity atthe center of youth development. Our programs build skills, knowledge, andself-efficacy, while maximizing our participants' ability to find theresiliency necessary to thrive, even in the face of challenges.Venice Arts has been honored as an exemplary organization for its work by local, county and state governments.
