The organization's primary mission is to provide for the common areas of a master development plan known as Playa Vista, located in Los Angeles, California, for the benefit of the public. This includes maintaining and repairing various owned areas for the public's benefit, funding obligations relating to environmentally protected areas, providing transportation, and maintaining the architectural integrity of the various controlled areas.
