Nature Center Associates of LOS Angeles County

The 6 nca chapters, which are normally physically based at a LOS Angeles County Nature center, provide education on local Southern California Nature. This includes outdoor tours for school groups, boy and girl scouts, and the general public, led by trained volunteer naturalists. Our chapters also provide interpretation, and on occasion funds, for Nature center exhibits and animals, and travel with exhibits and representative animals to outside schools and other groups. Assistance to la County parks and recreation is provided in maintenance and restoration of vegetation, and also of abandoned or injured wildlife.
