The general purpose for which this corporation was formed was to provide services and support to children ages 6 to 18 years who have experienced the death/loss of a loved one. A "loved one" is a deceased person with whom the minor had a significant, ongoing personal relationship, including, but not limited to, a parent, sibling, grandparent, guardian, aunt, uncle, cousin or close friend. The corporation will sponsor weekend camps so grieving children can interact with and create friendships with other children or teens who have lost a loved one while participating in various indoor and outdoor camp-appropriate activities under the direction of trained bereavement counselors.
