Hawaii Cultural programs: the organization provides multiple programs:1. The preschool program, called tutu and me, is offered in partnership with partners in development. This program offers 2 hours of programming, twice per week, to students and their grandparents during the school year. A total of 67 classes were offered and served 3,000 participants. 2. The elementary program was offered in 7 different classes to serve 280 students from across the island.3. The middle school program was offered in 3 different classes to serve 120 students. 4. The high school hula festival celebrates hula and aims to perpetuate the art of hula. 303 students from 12 schools participated in the 2024 hula festival. LCI also offers space for kumu hula (Cultural practitioners) to practice their craft. There are 3 halau that consistently hold hula practice, for 3 to 4 hours per class. A total of 420 hours of hula practice.
