Education and bringing awareness of the devastation poaching causes is a crucial link in the chain to solving the problem. Dr. Deblanc gives lectures, complete with a multimedia props of her time in south Africa, to clubs, groups, foundations, private gatherings, and even school-aged children. In order to make a social change, we must first make society aware of the problem.
