Our mission is to make sure that every child in our community has a bed to sleep in. We don't realize what a good night's sleep can do for a child mentally, physically, socially. We provide a wood framed twin size bed, a mattress, a sheet protector, set of sheets, a comforter, a pillow, stuffed animal, and a reading book. All these items are delivered to children that do not have beds and at no cost to the family. We work with all the social workers, school districts, hospitals, fire departments, ambulance departments, some of the organizations that we are with are Southwest Health and Human Services, WRAP (WoMen's Ruraul Advocay Programs), Child Protective Serivces, domestic violence, foster care, and many others.Children cannot help the situations that they are born into. It is not a child's fault the hand that has dealt them. So, if we can make their life even a little bit better by giving them a place to lay their head at night, it is all worth it.
