Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinsons Wellness

The Kirk Gibson center for Parkinson's Wellness (the "center") was formed in march 2024 and is organized exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and to carry out the purposes of the kirk h. And joann p. Gibson family foundation for Parkinson's research, a Michigan nonprofit corporation. The present activities of the center consist primarily of tasks associated with its formation and organization, as well as developing an action plan to further the center's charitable mission. Once up and running, the center intends to establish and operate a new facility in southeast Michigan beginning in the fall of 2025 to inform, educate and instruct individuals suffering from Parkinson's disease and their care partners in exercise and movement-related therapy. The center's activities serve a vital need to Parkinson's patients and care partners. The center intends that all services provided to individuals with Parkinson's will be free of charge.
