WORDS OFF the Paper Inc

ORGANIZATION and MISSION WORDS OFF the Paper, Inc. is a nonprofit arts and education organization rooted in the belief that everyvoice has value, and every story deserves to be told. We champion the narratives of those too often overlooked in mainstream culture-women, people of color, veterans, and members of underserved communities-by transforming their lived experiences into powerful works of theater, literature, andpublic performance. Founded in August 28, 2024 by playwright, veteran, and community advocate K.E. Mullins, WORDS OFF the Paper was created to bridge the gap between the page and the stage. What began as a creative outlet soon blossomed into a vibrant platform for diverse storytelling and cultural dialogue. Our flagship initiative, the Stories of Our Time Playwriting Festival, invites playwrights from across the nation to develop original works that reflect the triumphs, struggles, and unique perspectives of marginalized individuals.
