Murdoch Family Foundation

The organization is in the process of acquiring approximately 340,000 acres of property in southwest montana that includes a working cattle ranch and approximately 226,000 acres of leased public land. The ranch and surrounding premises will be used to provide recreational and educational opportunities for the public, including access to open lands and natural resources and information and experiential workshops on cattle ranching, environmental protection and conservation of natural resources.
