The organization's mission is: 1)to develop and maintain empirically based data that is used by policy makers and Human service agencies to measure and improve the design and delivery of Services that affect vulnerable and marginalized populations in the capital region of upstate New York; 2) to provide Evaluation research and design information to inform policy makers and service providers across a wide spectrum of social science fields, including education and early childhood development, children and family Services, elder Services, economic and community development, and criminal and juvenile justice; and 3) to collect, maintain and disseminate data from which policy makers and service providers may empirically measure the effectiveness of social service programs and initiatives.
