Utility Solid Waste Activities Group

To advance and improve the management of wastes and the beneficial use of materials associated with the generation, transmission, or sale of electricity and natural gas, including representing the industry's interests in the formulation of public policy relating to pollution prevention and Waste minimization; recycling and beneficial use of secondary and recovered materials; Solid and hazardous Waste management; assessment and remediation of contaminated sites; management of petroleum and other substances in tanks, containers, and equipment; regulation of chemicals and toxic substances; and transportation of hazardous materials.
